Prettywild Design was launched in 2006 by graphic designer, Suzanne Osborne . . . “My story begins in the late Eighties when I embarked on my graphic design degree. To supplement college life I took regular Saturday and holiday work in a local stationery shop – a wonderful Aladdin's Cave of beautiful fountain pens, greetings cards, office equipment and a small printworks. It was an inspirationally-run family business and the owners quickly taught me the importance of good customer relations, hard work and how to wrap the wedding invitation orders! I also developed an obsession with buying notebooks. Meanwhile, at design school, I learnt the beauty of typography, played with paper... and met my future husband! Several years working in design studios were to follow, but I'd always yearned to run my own business allowing me complete freedom to share my ideas and love for creative, affordable event stationery. In 2006 Prettywild Design was launched as a full time business, going from strength to strength ever since. Today the studio shelves brim over with an ever-growing collection of notebooks, packed with ideas and the beautiful designs indulging a hint of creative playfulness that inspired the company name. My work is increasingly sought after as weddings and civil partnerships become increasingly stylishly flamboyant, reflecting couples’ personalities.
